I have avoided this topic like the plague and honestly still am having issue about writing this particular post. This is one aspect of the illness that we did not handle well at all. In fact, we could very easily write a very exhaustive book entitled “How to NOT tell your family about Bipolar Disorder”. The month of May was Mental Health Awareness Month. As a result, I undertook the challenge to try to release a blog post everyday for the month of May.
