About two years ago I was sitting at our kitchen table at 2 AM aimlessly surfing the web. I felt so alone and so lost. I had no where to turn and I was scared beyond belief. I meant what I said when we exchanged our wedding vows on that cold January Saturday almost five years ago. Though, I came to a point where I wasn’t sure how much more of the mood swings, anxiety, etc I could handle.
Sure, I had my family and even my husband’s family – but they did not have the experience of watching their life long partner suffer from something as internal and conflicting as Bipolar Disorder. I know first hand what it is like to look at your spouse and see that the illness has taken them over so much that you don’t even recognize the person that is standing before you.
This is why The Bipolar Marriage website exists. It is out there to help anyone who is watching a loved one suffer from Bipolar Disorder. I want to give hope to those who feel like there is no hope left. I want to give encouragement to those who feel like they are barely hanging on to life and as they are it is unraveling right before their eyes.

1) Subscribe to the blog By subscribing to this blog it helps me know how many people are getting value from our journey through mental health, specifically Bipolar Disorder. I don’t blog for my own benefit. I want to provide hope and encouragement for those who are struggling through this. My goal is to help those couples find that glimmer at the end of the tunnel. By seeing your subscription lets me know that I am helping one more couple.
